I really like the improved gameplay in GW:EN. Combat is more challenging, without being too hard. In the older hard quests, they balance the game through blunt force, meaning the enemies would deal insane damage. If your team loses a healer, usually the whole team would die. In GW:EN, you can still survive a battle after a couple members go down. It definitely more fun this way.

I absolutely love GW:EN. The armors are a bit of a disappointment, but I wasn't really expecting them to top my male vabbian ele armor anyway. But really, that is the only thing about this chapter that isn't superb. Polymock, Kilroy's Punchout and the glorious, glorious dungeons...I really haven't ever had more fun playing this game.

GW:EN is great overall, only the HoM can use some more improvements. (Minipets, account based, more weapons in monument like Tormented)
The landscapes, heroes, quests, rewards, dungeons and titles all ROCK. And I haven't seen the Charr lands yet...
I even like the many new armors. :-)

So thats why you've been whining so loud about 'reskins', you actually spent days on end grinding gold to buy new 'uberl33t' armor? ROFLMAO!

Also: anyone really impressed by the waterfall effects? I was looking at those new see-through-y waterfalls all over the place and thinking "these beat some of the water effects in BioShock anyday" ^^ It's impressive considering how graphically undemanding Guild Wars usually is.
Although of course it anyway makes up for unimpressive graphics per se with such excellent art direction and map design - it's a pleasure to explore.

Hell, even though some of the armors are reskinned, some of them look better than the orginal, and that is good enough for me. They gave us Blindfolds, glasses, and custom gloves!
Also, I love the minigames! They are awesome
ANet has made a great step towards a better Guild Wars
I love it!

My favorite thing is how the henchmen now seem to be doing something, instead of just standing in a line-up. Little things like that help to draw you into the game.

I henched/heroed everything right up until Heart of the Shiverpeaks. So it was pretty easy until then.
It's all the little things that make it so much fun i..e:
Dungeon chests
Collectors with unique masks
Stand-alone armor pieces (chaos gloves, crown, etc)
mini games
I generally enjoy PvE much more now. So much in fact, that if they add weekend events I'll be content until GW2 which is like 2-3 years from now.

Save you money. It is not of the same quality of the other 3. I am very disapointed in it. It is not worth what they are asking for it for what you get. If I could my money back, I would, it is that bad.

It's definitely worth it. It's the best of guild wars so far, and better than any of the chapters. The story ties everything together and plenty of content to play with.
Alot of people are complaining about the rep grind when the game has only been just released, they're trying to acquire high-end contents in only 4 days... that's where the whole "grind" impression is coming from.

I can't say I like the Norn Rit armor because it looks like a shaggy dog with a demon head, but hey, its good in that way.
I am confused by the HoM wanting "awesome" weapons - what exactly? My green weapon from the Canthans for killing off Shiro isn't good enough? How about the green from the Forgotten for killing a god? No? Not good enough? WTH is that about?
The scenery amazes me, especially the forest fire and I found this volcano recently that makes the Ring of Fire look like it was scribbled with crayons. The Charr homeland is very very nice, all soft glow fable kinda realm that helps me end GW the way it started . . ..

Art design was never an issue with the GW series. It's everything else that sucks with EoN.

As I've explained to you in about 4 others threads where you put your foot in your mouth with this same statement, there is more to Rep than just armor. PvE skills!

It's easy to say "everything else" without identifying what they are...
so far all the complaints that I've seen on this forum has been rebutted.

Blindfolds and glasses are absolutely stupid. It's just another gimmick to make you say "oh that's neat." Well it isn't.
